Environmental Policy
Sustainable and responsible trade is particularly important to MILES. Because we know that continued environmental damage hinders or completely destroys social and environmental progress, MILES has committed itself, in line with ISO 14001:2004, to base its business on environmentally friendly and socially sustainable criteria.
Since August 2008 the Norderstedt facility has been certified according to ISO 14001:2004 and is therefore obliged to adhere to the requirements of this international standard. As a result, an environmental management system has been introduced, which needs to be maintained and improved continually. Once annually, an independent auditing company carries out a check that all standards are being adhered to.
