Shoes
Our shoe department’s product range includes models for every season and every kind of lifestyle. From dance shoes to jogging shoes and shoes for team sports, right through to motorcycling, sailing or trekking shoes, this portfolio has everything. The outdoor product range is topped off by wellington boots, soft shell shoes and “amphibian shoes”.
The ladies’ and men’s shoes product line offers a range of models from business to everyday shoe wear, from casual to elegant. The portfolio even includes training shoes for infants to help them learn to walk.
Material quality is important to us. The use of special membrane layers in shoes such as our Softshell and Coolmax brands makes them not only functional but also water-resistant, while still allowing the wearer’s feet to breathe.
In addition to functionality, the look is also an important aspect: we use the best leather materials such as nappa leather, nubuck leather, suede, buffalo leather and antique leather to achieve the perfect surfaces. Products with wood components are produced using wood sourced exclusively from forests which are managed according to the best practices required for FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) membership.
Regular monitoring by a number of testing institutes guarantees our products’ quality. The TÜV Rheinland’s regular toxicity and processing quality checks are not the sole quality assurance mechanisms that we have in place: the c-mark quality seal indicates that the goods have been checked for toxins, and the CE symbol is a further indication of compliance of the goods with all relevant European guidelines as in force. The appearance, the manufacturing quality and the functionality of our products undergo a final comprehensive check as part of our so-called final random inspection procedure. The labelling and packaging of our products is also closely checked before our products are finally dispatched.
